I remember very clearly the second opinion chats we had! Is this still the second opinion rheumy?
I am sure he will listen to you and your list! Can anyone accompany you?
You have 'failed' on two DMARDs anyway haven't you?
Stay strong and make sure they hear your voice- i'll be praying!
Much love,
Amanda

Hi Amanda, yes, this was the same consultant, but I have already told them I cant make the journey. Its too hard and to get a cab would be around £30 each way. Hopefully the one I am seeing at Guy's will get his act together, I think he does mean to, but its getting to know each other is part of the consultation. Well, will let you all know tomorrow, and thank you too Jean for the wishes for tomorrow x xBARBARA

Chrissie, I'm not lazy about travelling, you can t really go by bus as its about 6 miles away. It would take around 2 hours to travel, and I cant keep askng for time off with the little ones. Tubes are too hard due to all the stairs, and there are four changes needed to get there, its the Royal Free and I am in South East London. If I could do it I would, we did a practice journey a while ago and it killled us with the stairs, felt too ill afterwards.BARBARA

Understand exactly what you mean, Barb. Nothing worse than trying to climb stairs when your legs wont work. As for 4 changes to get there - forget it. It would tax the fittest person on here, let alone us!!
Take care, darlin and lt us know how you get on
Love Jeanxxxx
